Safeguarding Statement – Epic Kids

Effective Date: 18 May 2026

At Epic Kids, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children can learn, create, and enjoy our activities with confidence.

Epic Kids offers activities including chess, LEGO, STEM challenges, 3D printing, arts and crafts, and outdoor games.

Our Commitment to Child Safety

We aim to ensure that all children attending Epic Kids are:

  • treated with respect and care

  • supervised appropriately during activities

  • supported in a safe learning environment

  • protected from harm wherever possible

Staff & Supervision

Epic Kids is run by experienced teachers.

Staff working directly with children are Garda vetted.

Children are supervised throughout camp activities.

We aim to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios to ensure effective supervision and support.

Collection & Drop-Off

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are dropped off and collected at the correct times.

Children will only be released to authorised adults unless alternative arrangements have been communicated in advance.

Medical & Emergency Information

Parents/guardians must provide:

  • emergency contact details

  • relevant medical information

  • allergy information

  • any additional information that may help us safely support their child

If a medical emergency occurs, Epic Kids may contact emergency services where necessary.

Parents/guardians will be contacted as soon as possible.

Behaviour & Safety

We aim to create a positive environment for all children.

Unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour may result in parents being contacted and, in serious cases, removal from camp.

Photography

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes only where parental consent has been provided.

Child Protection

Epic Kids is committed to following child safeguarding best practices in line with relevant Irish child protection guidance.
